10 Points to Note in Case of An Accident:

Ø Bring the vehicle to a complete stop in a clear safe area.

Ø Turn off the ignition of your car.

Ø Check the state of the passengers in the vehicle.

Ø Telephone the Police Station, (EHS if needed).

Ø Collect names, addresses, telephone numbers of persons in the vehicle and any witnesses.

Ø Check the area and diagram the direction, lane travel and travel speed when accident occurred.

Ø Document the weather conditions, date and time of accident.

Ø Request other driver’s driving permit and write down the number and driver address.

Ø Never admit liability or make statements about the accident to other driver.

Ø Request Insurance Certificate and write down Insurance Company and Policy Number.
